Have you ever longed for a club that allows your child to flourish in their long term life skills and develop in confidence?
If so, the Horse Riding Association is definitely the place for you! Based in Greater London, this registered charity gives opportunities for young people from a variety of backgrounds to care, ride and thrive with their horses.
Every week members alternate between riding and mucking out, in order to develop their skills; it’s not just horse riding.
They have a wide range of facilities, including access to regular hacks in Bushy Park and a large indoor riding facility.
Supporting 300 children every week, they also provide support for children and adults with disabilities through the RDA.
A member of the HRA named Daniella Saperstein said: “Through the work of the RDA, everyone has an opportunity to ride horses and develop their passion.”
It doesn’t just stop there! They encourage their members to tick off their tenderfoot badge-work quickly, which gives newer members a chance to learn equestrian skills, just by asking.
It is an extremely welcoming environment, so there’s no reason for any new members to be nervous.
So whether you are there to care for horses, learn new skills or find friends; the Horse Riding Association is the place for you.
