Morden free cycling lessons are back on!

After several months of closure due to the cold weather. Bikeability’s free Merton adult cycling lessons are back on.

The aim of bikeabilitys workshops is to teach adults the skill of riding a bike, with a focus on safe technique, to get more adults cycling.

As already known, cars contribute tonnes of CO2 into the metropolitan London’s atmosphere a day.

Scientists say that switching one trip a day from driving to cycling reduces carbon footprint by over 0.5 tonnes a year. With more people cycling on our roads, we can protect our earth from global warming and extreme weather events.

A local, Seba Mukoro has said that the cycling lessons have been "amazing in helping me learn how to ride a bike’ and she was able to do so in just 'four lessons."

Bike ability’s cycling sessions are expected to continue up until further notice.
